Welcome to Answers to Tough Questions (ATTQ) a ministry site dedicated to strengthening the Christian church to be salt and light in the 21st century. Both the great commandment to love God and neighbor (Mathew 22: 34-36) and the great commission to make disciples of the nations (Mathew 28:18-20) are what stirred me to start (ATTQ). It’s my desire to serve the Christian church by offering: culturally relevant seminars that tackle the hot issues of our day; and by providing solid resources designed to graciously embolden Christ’s followers.
Resources come under four different fields of interest. The first one is that of apologetics which strengthens the Christians’ ability to evangelize winsomely and boldly. The second area of interest are issues in theology which strengthens the Believers’ capacity to grasp the Bible’s core ideas. A third area focuses on philosophy which strengthens the Disciples’ facility to think critically. And the last area concerns culture which challenges Christ’s Followers to live authentically in its milieu.
I’m glad you’ve stopped by. Please let me know how I can serve you.

Lately, with all of the changes and court rulings, it seems that our country is changing at a rapid pace. The infrastructure with it’s core beliefs is crumbling and this is creating a sense of instability. As an immigrant I love the USA and the ideals that have governed this great land. It seems that it provided for many freedoms and rights protecting life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Now the use of “rights” is being redirected and the effect is harm, not protection. I feel powerless and concerned for this country that I love.

I forgot to add that learning to think critically and clearly on the subjects perhaps will help and empower my voice, since I am one of the citizens of the USA.

Trish,
While many echo your concerns, one way to get involved and have your voice heard is to
get educated on the issues so that you might “bring light” to the issues at hand,
rather than the heat so much of social media produces. Take a look at the links
we’ve provided and continue to grow. https://answerstotuffquestions.wordpress.com/2015/07/03/the-bible-and-homosexuality/
Remember also, the big things in life are the little things that escape our notice. Your voice matters, it’s not insignificant but truly important.
